1. Overview

Deep Thought Lab ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you purchase or use Alex's Dashboard ("the Software") and how that information is used.

2. Information We Collect

Purchase information: When you purchase the Software, your payment and personal details (name, email address, billing address) are collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Deep Thought Lab receives only your email address and a purchase confirmation for the purpose of delivering your download link.

Download link delivery: Your email address is used solely to send you your unique download link. We do not store, sell, or share your email address with any third parties beyond what is required to complete your purchase.

3. Information the Software Does NOT Collect

Alex's Dashboard is a 100% local application. It does not:

4. Version Check

The Software may perform a periodic version check by fetching a publicly accessible version file from GitHub (github.com) to notify you when an update is available. This request contains no personal information and is indistinguishable from any browser request to a public repository. GitHub's own privacy policy applies to that request.

5. Paddle (Payment Processor)

All payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment and billing information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy, available at paddle.com/legal/privacy. Deep Thought Lab does not have access to your full payment card details.

6. Cookies and Website Analytics

The deepthoughtlab.net website may use standard web server access logs (provided by DreamHost) that record IP addresses and page requests for security and diagnostic purposes. No additional tracking cookies or third-party analytics are intentionally used on this site.

7. Data Retention

We retain your email address only as long as necessary to deliver your purchase and respond to any support requests. We do not maintain a mailing list or send unsolicited communications.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at deepthoughtlab.net. For data processed by Paddle, please contact Paddle directly.

9. Children's Privacy

The Software is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy
